The Why Of It All

I’m from the school of thought that more is more. I know people tend to favor the opposite, but what’s one more piece of body decoration? Before you leave the house take off one accessory? Absolutely not, add one more thing. This body of mine deserves to be adorned. It’s gotten me through so much and should be decorated and appreciated. Since I was little I would pile on beads around my neck and barrettes in my hair. As I got older my more is more mentality grew from the masterpiece that is Clarissa Explains it All. This Nickelodeon treasure inspired the look of my bedroom, my wardrobe, my accessories, and the great desire to have a boy climb a ladder into my bedroom. I needed to express myself the way she did and it led me to making jewelry. I love being able to create the looks that I want instead of searching for them elsewhere. Another perk of jewelry, it always fits!
